
Eleanor Leah Williams
Eleanor Leah Williams is an Assistant Professor of Security at Dublin City University. Prior to joining DCU in August 2024, Eleanor was a Junior Research Fellow in the Northern Ireland Peace Process at Pembroke College, University of Oxford. During her time at Oxford, she worked as part of the Quill Project ‘Writing Peace: Penning the Good Friday Agreement’ team at Pembroke College which brings together archives, private papers, and oral histories from across the political spectrum to create a rounded view of the context and detail of the peace process. Eleanor completed her PhD at Queen’s University of Belfast, which looked at the ethically controversial state intelligence activities conducted during the conflicts in Northern Ireland and Colombia.
